Job Description

To co-ordinate, plan & assist in implementation of production plans WITH an objective to meet the production delivery target WITHIN the customer requirement & business unit plans.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Production planning

- Acquiring the plan from sales

- Prepare & release the production plan ( Quarterly, monthly & daily) based on customer requirements

- Communicate this plan to manufacturing for execution.

- Communicate urgency plans to VD & logistics & co-ordinate with them

- Planning to include core assembly Oil Cooler, higher KVA, Condenser, 2 wheeler, Heater Core

- Forecasting current & future (2 months) requirement based on the invoicing plan

- Follow up of critical list of items to production department.

- Creation of plan ( listing of models), monitoring the plan for non- compliance to ensure data availability to the production order on SAP (Reservation no.) etc.

- Updating of production order and reservation

- Monitor the plan as vis-a- vis execution


  • Delivery

- Monitor the manufacturing activity ( Opening stock, Goods in transit, Receipt, FG Stock & Drop levels) customer wise as per the delivery plan

- Coordinate with marketing, manufacturing and dispatch departments to ensure timely delivery

- Communicate dispatch details to Sale Representative


  • Stock & Inventory

- Input for calculating inhouse and external inventory levels based on past trends.

- Monitoring the batch type production plan

- Calculating monthly Line stoppage Index and finding out reasons for any existing stoppages.

- Calculation of consolidated losses and finding out reasons for the same.




Desired Candidate Profile


Diploma in Mechanical with minimum 5+ years of experience in same field with knowledge of SAP PP
