Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Driving Zero Defect quality drive in plant (Zero customer complaint)
  • Driving & leading process Quality improvement on Heat Exchangers (Radiators/Intercoolers/Condensers/Oil coolers)
  • Improving internal defects/issues pertaining to product/Process
  • Controlling the rejection rate & internal PPM to achieve the high quality level of products
  • Leading and ensuring dock audits for the products dispatched to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Leading the resolution of customer complaints to avoid rejections in future
  • Ensuring all the poke-yoke are working in line with the quality standards to maintain quality level
  • Product/Process Audit in plant.
  • Ensuring documentation related to the product line so as to keep a track of records
  • Executing customer audits & submission of PPAP for Series change development in engine cooling to ensure compliances
  • Monitoring COPQ - Reported Rejection, Internal Audits.
  • Monitoring Firewall - Issues Analysis and Action Implementation
  • Preparation & ensuring 8D reports submission to the customer for the quality issues reported at customer line.
  • Implementation and Adherence of IATF 16949 requirements.
  • NPD QA- PPAP & APQP


Desired Candidate Profile


  • B.E. ( MECH ) WITH AROUND 8  TO 12 YEARS experience in the similar field
  • SIX SIGMA ( GREEN/ BLACK BELT ),KNOWLEDGE OF CORE TOOLS( SPC, MSA/ PFMEA)
