Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Development of NPD parts -

*Development and delivery of NPD parts for BSVI as per the required timeline.

*Enhancement of vendor capacity to meet the projected sales target.

*.Enhancing supply chain efficiency by localisation , resourcing , improvement in material flow , new technology introduction and business allocation

Buyer responsibility -

*Procurement of material as per invoicing plan
* sending BPR to suppliers on daily basis for MTA parts
*Monitoring vendor BPR , warehouse stock , transit stock and on time dispatch for open schedule.
*Ensuring parts availability as per TOC *Monitoring MTO parts in warding as per market requirement

* Monitoring SPD and after market (retail) parts in warding as per market requirement
*Additional support for satellite plants BOP procurement
*Ensuring RM availability at vendors end . *Providing additional support / backup for other buyers
*Visiting to vendor place for part follow up as and when required
IN ORDER TO achieve customer requirement

Cost Reduction -

*Alternative source development - for raw material

*Monitoring SOB in order to achiving cost saving
*Kaizens and support for other cost saving projects
* IN ORDER TO improve the profitability.

Vendor Monitoring -

*Maintain vendor schedule line based on invoicing plan in PO/SA

*Moniter vendor rating on monthly basis
*Improvement action plan for poor vendor rating
*Resolving vendor related issues like cash flow , part quality issues,etc.

* IN ORDER TO ensure the appointment and choice of right supplier.

Improve on system and Process -

*SAP - T code development with the help of ERP team for planning.

*Correction of material type where required

*Bill of material change or update as required
IN ORDER TO increase the operational efficiency.

Diploma / BE - Mechanical -with 5 to 10 years of Exp.
