Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. (TACO), established in October 1995 by the Tata Group with the aim of participating in and catalysing the modernisation of the Indian automotive components industry. The TACO group, with its 24 manufacturing plants, 5 engineering centres and three export-oriented units, is rapidly expanding its business within India as well as Overseas. Its current OE customers include DaimlerChrysler, Fiat, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mahindra and Mahindra, Piaggio, Tata Motors, Toyota, and Volvo.

Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Identify and develop new markets, customers, and distribution channels
  • Implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives

B. Distribution Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners
  • Ensure effective coverage, stock availability, and market penetration
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure target achievement 

C. Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Develop and execute territory-level business plans
  • Conduct market intelligence (pricing, competitor activity, product positioning)
  • Support new product launches and expansion initiatives

D. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, fleet owners, and key customers
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Gather feedback and provide inputs for product/service improvement

E. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance, collections, and receivables
  • Maintain MIS reports on sales, stock, and market activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and processes

F. Promotional & Branding Activities

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, dealer meets, and marketing activities
  • Drive brand visibility and market share expansion.

Qualification

•Any Grad/Any BE/Diploma/MBA
