Key Responsibilities

Develop new parts  based on program requirements

Participate in feasibility studies and prototyping

Develop parts to ensure quality, safety, and performance,

Optimize product design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency

Maintain detailed technical documentation (BOM, drawings, specifications)

Work closely with suppliers to understand requirements

Manage part development timelines and milestones

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, quality, procurement)

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Proto bom costing submission to business & maintaining the bom cost within budget.

Hands on experience on commodities such as Fabrication, Casting, Forging, Rubber & fasterners

Understanding of Engineering drawings & Specifications. 

Qualification

•BE/Btech (Mechanical)

Experience

•8-12 years

Excellent communication & problem solving Skills

CMM reports understanding
