Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP CONTROLLING & BUSINESS Analyst and who will be responsible for leading and managing SAP Controlling (CO) module implementation, rollouts, enhancements, and support activities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analysing financial data, developing custom reports, and providing actionable insights to Leadership Team using various analytical tools such as power BI, Qlik-Sense etc, for supporting strategic business decisions. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

SAP CO Module Implementation & Management
•    Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP CO functionalities, including:
o    Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
o    Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
o    Internal Orders (IO)
o    Product Costing (PC)
o    Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
•    Configure allocation cycles, assessment cycles, and distribution processes.
•    Understand integration with SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, PM and HR modules.
•    Manage CO period-end closing activities, including cost allocations, activity rates, Overhead %age, product costing.
2. Analytics & Reporting
•    Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Power BI or other BI tools.
•    Well versed with Power BI, Qlick Sense or any other analytics tools
•    Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for financial and controlling data.
•    Support predictive and prescriptive analytics initiatives.
•    Provide cost analysis and profitability insights to Leadership Teams to optimise the expenses and enhance finance decision making.
•    Data Scientist - Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format
3. Process Improvement & Optimization
•    Identify and implement process improvements for cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
•    Automate repetitive reporting tasks and enhance data accuracy like monthly MIS reports
•    Collaborate with finance and business teams to streamline cost accounting processes.
•    Ensure correctness of Activity rates and Overheads % age are correct for more accuracy in product costing.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
•    Partner with Finance, IT, and Business teams to gather and understand business requirements.
•    Provide user training and documentation.
•    Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units/users to translate business needs into system functionalities.

Qualification

Experience

CMA/MBA (Finance). SAP certification is a plus. 

Additional Requirement

 Preferred Experience:
•    Experience in global SAP implementations.
•    Knowledge of ABAP debugging and basic coding skills is a plus.
•    Familiarity with SAP Rise, Fiori apps, BTP, BPC and reporting capabilities.
•    Ability to handle complex data sets and perform advanced analytics.

Skills & Experience:
✅ Strong expertise in SAP CO module with end-to-end implementation experience.
✅ Minimum 8-10 years’ domain experience in Costing of Auto Industries, focusing on product costing, profitability Analysis, activity rates, overheads, under/over absorption of production overhead, inventory valuation, analysis and control.8 to 10 years in SAP Controlling (CO) and Analytics . Over all 16 to 20 years’ experience
✅ Proficiency in Power BI - Strong ability to build advanced dashboards and visualizations for financial reporting.
✅ Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance and CO-PA on RISE is preferred.
✅ Strong understanding of financial processes, including P&L, balance sheets, Ratios, exceptions based on analysis for cost control.
✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
