Lead - Network Administration

About Us

This poisition will lead the design, deployment, and continuous enhancement of the organization's global network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging the latest technologies. This role is responsible for driving network standardization, security, and operational excellence across all locations, while fostering innovation and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise network strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Plan and design scalable, secure, and resilient network infrastructure.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or changes.
• Lead the design and implementation of advanced network solutions for the organization across multiple locations
• Oversee network standardization initiatives, ensuring consistent architecture and best practices across all sites.
• Champion network modernization projects, evaluating emerging technologies and driving adoption where beneficial
• Establish and enforce robust network security standards, policies, and procedures in line with ISO 27001 and other relevant frameworks.
• Ensure physical and logical separation between IT and OT networks as per organiuzation OT framework
• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management (VAPT), and ensure timely closure of security observations.
• Maintain and present the organization’s security posture to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Lead incident response, war room exercises, and social engineering simulations for leadership and staff.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of network services through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Manage industrial protocols
• Maintain connectivity and performance of field devices, sensors, and controllers.
• Monitor latency, jitter, and packet loss to ensure real-time control system performance.
• Use specialized tools for OT network visibility 
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and topology.
• Drive continuous improvement in network operations, leveraging ITIL practices and automation where possible.
• Maintain technology partners relationships by periodic performance monitoring and reviews
• Manage network projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management internally and externally
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and business leaders to align network initiatives with organizational priorities.
• Implement network segmentation, firewalls, and intrusion detection tailored for OT.
• Apply security patches cautiously to avoid disrupting operations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and threat modeling for OT assets.
• Prepare and present risk registers, and network architecture documentation to seniors leadership.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and integration of new control systems.
• Plan and execute network changes with minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards through regular audits and assessments.
• Generate reports on network health, incidents, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of network assets and configurations.
• Design and test network failover and recovery strategies.
• Ensure backup systems and redundancy are in place.
• Analyze network usage trends and forecast future needs.
• Optimize network performance through tuning and upgrades.

Qualification

B.Tech/BE / M.Tech/ ME in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Computer Science
MCA, M.Sc (Science) in Computers

Certifications :

• CCNP / CCIE
• CISM
• ITIL
• PMP
• Other Network / Security certifactions

Experience

• 15+ years of progressive experience purely in network management from mid-to-large enterprises
• Proven experience in latest network hardware and technologies
• Proven expertise in network design, and deployment.
• Strong background in network security, architecture, and governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with leading nework technological and cloud security platforms.
