Tata AutoComp GY Batteries Pvt. Ltd. (TGY) is a prominent joint venture between TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd and Japan's GS Yuasa International Ltd, established to manufacture automotive and inverter batteries branded as "TATA Green Batteries". Founded in 2005, the company focuses on environmentally friendly, 90% recyclable lead-acid batteries for various vehicles, including two-wheelers, cars, and commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities;

Lead logistics and dispatch operations, ensuring alignment with daily production and national dispatch
plans.
• Coordinate across departments including Planning, Production, and Sales to meet timely deliveries and RSP
targets.
• Supervise packaging and loading schedules to optimize space utilization and minimize dispatch errors.
• Manage outbound logistics, vendor follow-up, and coordination with transport teams to ensure on-time
deliveries PAN India.
• Implement dispatch tracking mechanisms using SAP to monitor shipment progress and resolve logistics
issues proactively.
• Achieved a cost-saving of ₹1.5 lakhs through a project on redesigning stickers and cartons and efficient old
inventory utilization.
• Continuously improve logistics KPIs including TAT, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and packaging accuracy.
• Actively involved in documentation, invoice generation, and ensuring compliance with company dispatch
policies.
