Key Responsibilities

The MES Consultant will be responsible for solution design, implementation, and stabilization of Manufacturing Execution Systems across plants. The role involves close collaboration with plant operations, IT, automation teams, and vendors to ensure successful MES deployments and standardization.

Key Responsibilities
•    End-to-end MES implementations including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare
•    Gather and document manufacturing process requirements from plant stakeholders
•    Prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and solution documentation
•    Support integration with ERP, PLC/SCADA, and shop-floor systems
•    Execute unit testing, system testing, and UAT with business users
•    Validate FDS, Technical design documents, configurations etc.
•    Support plant go-lives, training sessions, and post-go-live support
•    Assist in rolling out standardized MES templates across multiple plants
•    Drive Agile / SCRUM execution, managing multiple workstreams and enabling cross functional collaboration 

Qualification

BE / BTech in Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering 

Experience

Skills & Experience
•    5–8 years of experience in MES implementation or manufacturing digitalization
•    Hands-on experience with at least one MES platform (Siemens Opcenter, Apriso, FactoryTalk, Ignition, or equivalent)
•    Hands-on experience on Configuring MES modules such as Production, Quality, Traceability, OEE, and Digital Work Instructions
•    Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations
•    Experience in PLC/SCADA and MES–ERP (SAP preferred) integration
•    Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and ISA-95 concepts
•    Familiarity with Manufacturing Business KPIs, SAP Modules functional understanding
•    Understanding of IT – OT Network segmentations, AWS Cloud basics

•    Willingness to travel for plant deployments
