We design and manufactures advanced suspension solutions including air suspensions, rubber and bogie suspensions, lift axles, and parabolic springs for trucks, buses, tippers, and trailers. Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end design and development of suspension systems (air suspension, leaf spring, dampers, anti-roll bars, linkages) for Bus platforms
  • Define suspension architecture aligned with vehicle performance targets (ride, handling, stability, NVH)
  • Drive advanced simulations (FEA, MBD) and engineering calculations

Project & Program Management

  • Ensure adherence to project milestones, cost targets, and quality standards
  • Manage risk assessment, DFMEA, and design validation plans (DVP&R)
  • Lead issue resolution during prototype, testing, and production stages

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of design engineers and analysts
  • Drive capability development within the team (tools, processes, best practices)

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with suppliers for design, development, and validation of components
  • Drive cost optimization, localization, and value engineering initiatives
  • Work closely with Customer team for effective completion of projects

Innovation & Strategy

  • Benchmark competitors and drive continuous product improvement
  • Contribute to long-term suspension technology roadmap for bus platforms

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in automotive suspension/ chassis system design, preferably in buses or commercial vehicles
  •  

Additional Requirement

  • Strong expertise in vehicle dynamics, suspension kinematics, and load analysis
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools (Solid works/CATIA V5 / Creo)
  • Experience with CAE tools (ANSYS, HyperMesh, Adams, Abaqus)
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams and projects
