Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth functioning of all production machines and utility equipment.
  • Handle breakdown, preventive & predictive maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Must have hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modification.
  • Attend machine breakdowns and ensure minimum production downtime.
  • Analyse recurring machine failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance check sheets, history cards, and TPM records.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth line operations.
  • Support new machine installation, commissioning, and automation projects.
  • Ensure spare parts planning and inventory control for critical equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities for OEE, MTTR, and MTBF improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and statutory requirements.
  • Guide and develop junior engineers, technicians, and maintenance operators.

Qualification

BE / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering

Experience

5 - 8 years

  • Automotive / Auto Components / Manufacturing Industry
  • Experience in maintenance and automation in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in Automotive Industry (Tier1), Assembly Business Unit Preference.

Additional Requirement

  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming & troubleshooting (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Allen Bradley / Delta etc.)
  • Knowledge of HMI, VFD, servo systems, sensors, and industrial automation.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and control circuits.
  • Knowledge of TPM, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and breakdown analysis.
  • Good leadership, communication, and team handling skills.
  • Ready to work in shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
