Key Responsibilities

Production, Planning  and Control -

Manufacture material as per quality parameters,

- Supervise production of goods of quality and in adequate numbers according to demand by customers

- Maintain stocks within minimum and maximum level,

- Organize production in shifts

- Ensure optimum utilisation of men, material, and machines

- Ensure high uptime of machines by timely maintenance of machines, IN ORDER to achieve production targets, improve profitability &  ensure on time delivery to the customers.

 

Systems Development and Adherence

Study, Evaluate and review the existing practices continuously

- Benchmark the best process and practices in manufacturing

- Initiating and driving compliance through Quality systems like TS, ISO

- Increase awareness of TBEM and ensure implementation there of IN ORDER to improve performance by developing and adhearing to systems.

 

Plant  & Manufacturing Engineering

Supervise breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance

- To plan for utilities/spares&, prepare budget for maintenance department

- Supervise design, maintenance and upkeep of tools, develop and implement capex plans

- To identify specifications and commission new equipment IN ORDER TO prevent breakdown of machinery in plant resulting in loss of productivity & facilitate smooth running of production process

 

People Management

Build a team, set targets and support the team in achieving targets,

- To ensure discipline of workforce and compliance of all safety norms

- Identify developmental needs of the employees,

- Coaching, guiding and training employees in technical / functional areas

- Goal setting and performance evaluation IN ORDER TO have a motivated workforce and maximise productivity
